Philips tube 25-8305 (25 PT 8303-12), 4:3, 100
Hz picture ---> Starting problems

Repair: 25-8305 Philips

Device Type: CRT TV

Defect: Image> Starting problems

Manufacturer: Philips

Device Type: 25-8305 (25 PT 8303-12), 4:3, 100 Hz

Chassis: Type 6b MD2.2E

______________________

Hello Männa Fraunhofer and the specialist [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

ask a question time today to a TV which has been suffering for a few days to start trouble ...

The unit and some general details!

Philips video line 25-8305 (25 PT 8303-12) with 4:3, 100Hz

The TV itself is already so well about ten years in almost daily
(continuous) use is up to the error described otherwise in order and so
far has been a time when the visible image of a gray or light yellow
sly. Although this product has certainly done his duty, I think it would
be a shame not only when the device is simply disposed of ('typical
creature of habit) but because the love of money is currently also plays
a role.

In order for error description .......

The normal Einschaltvorhang!

- The TV is turned on or modify, and, within one / two sec is the picture to see!

Today's abnormal switching!

- The device is switched on and, the image was first dark / black. Then,

- After a few sec the screen changes from the normal dark-black in a
kind of "lit dark-gray" or "black background with light". It then
appears in the picture above also a horizontal, about a hand wide, light
gray and white stripes which stand out from the rest of the picture.

At the top left and right in the statements of corners can be seen
then even very small bright / white stripes / Wodran corners can be seen
that, so to speak, under the black movement in the picture seems to be
when you switch For example, the Prog or the Vid-text served . And,

- Then after about 1-2 minutes waiting for the normal image was visible! The tone is always on the way there from the beginning!

And so to the day since, very bad, turn!

- Instead of the last week the picture was no longer visible after
1-2 minutes! I had the TV then just started and now it has probably
lasted at least 15-20 minutes until the picture then was finally
visible.

Thus my question of course:

- Can someone estimate what error is present here? And if so,

- The repair is seen Finz for such a device was still acceptable? How much would spare parts and stuff?

- How difficult would be the replacement for the layman?

and finally attached and asked allg:

- Could it be dangerous if you bereibt the TV with the above error?

- The above-described "Grau-/Gelbschleier on the image that has to
do with the above error or is it just a standard old age of the picture
tube or the result of" consumed Grau-/Gelbschleier "undo" Condenser Is
this? " to make?

Been so, think that it should only be time and again ever thank you for such information and advice - damnke [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

Addendum!
I've seen the top of the Bez is not quite right (probably was a bit tired [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

Here is the correct Notation: Philips 25-8303 (25 PT 8303-12)

And subsequently to the error description:

If the image can be seen then, the unit lüpt for hours without problems.

However, I would like to correct the error evt lest even more
breaks. So please her Fachmänna / Fraunhofer, Wodran could it be and
where should I start?

Quote:
Can someone estimate what error is present here?

That sounds like a defective vertical deflection. The image is
written to the piston tube and then reflected back to the screen.
Therefore, this gray shadow. This can in extreme cases, damage to the
tube because the pistons are too hot.

In the simplest case helps resolder, but possibly also the vertical amplifier is defective.

Photos from the error should be very helpful. Upload here.

Quote:
Finz is the repair seen for such a device is still acceptable? How much would spare parts and stuff?

That depends on who repaired. A repair in a workshop worthwhile for
the device under any circumstances. There is no question of if, but when
the next big error, which may already announced.

Quote:
How difficult would be the replacement for the layman?

That depends on what is available to experience, measuring
instruments and tools. Without any knowledge that nothing will be.
Soldering iron, multimeter and oscilloscope should already be present in
addition to the usual tools.

Quote:
Could it be dangerous if you bereibt the TV with the above error?

Yes, of course. Faulty equipment is generally used further. In
extreme cases it can cause a fire. In addition, the device is not
guaranteed any better. You drive so even with a car in which a cylinder
is down and the only brakes on three wheels.

Quote:
the
above-described "Grau-/Gelbschleier in the picture, that has to do with
the above error? Or is it just a standard old age of the picture tube
or the result of" consumed "Cond? Is this" Grau-/Gelbschleier "to undo ?
make

This is not related to the other errors. Either you have broken a
further error in the control of the picture tube, or, more probably,
unfortunately, the tube itself.

In your device is inside one of the most notorious
höchstwarscheinlich ESF tubes. Where there is no question of if, but
only when they break.

The error shows up in a colored picture with diagonal stripes. Just
irritates me your color code. Yellow would be very unwarscheinlich. A
red, blue or green veil would be a sure sign, however.

For this reason, because I would not invest large sums of money
more. That the tube eventually dies is safe. I suspect that a
significant percentage of these devices has long been scrapped.

Thus the above problem and answers .....

To;. "That depends on what is available to experience, measuring
instruments and tools completely without knowledge that nothing will be"

So at best I'm just even semi-skilled hobbyists and I special to
TVs've never been to was and was due to my dbzgl ignorance and the high
voltages in some places highest "respect" (or "fear"?) In front of these
boxes.

Apart from this fact as far as I can already handle a soldering iron
(except for SMD) and I are here with four-piston sucked brands 6W/12,
8W/220V, 15W/220 and 25W/220V. Furthermore, there is / there is also a
standard low-cost multimeters, and more recently, a HM 305 (here jed
untrained) and added an isolating transformer (220V./2.5Amp).

So it could from the repair with your little one probably will support - I hope non-specialist at least once [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

To: "That sounds like a defective vertical deflection" and "Therefore, this gray shadow".

Again to explain: When I Failed Switch on with "gray backlit" and
have been described, then I want here to say once again that in this
"gray screen" so that you can because failure to detect the actual image
/ Prog!

The image remains so after turning only once remains black for a few
sec and then changes, however, rather quickly in this "gray backlit" is
being seen to be in the picture above even this horizontal hand wide,
somewhat lighter or gray-white stripes.

At this point, so you can not see the actual image / prog, it's just
all black with backlight! Are only in the two top corners to see very
small spots / areas (outside the norm is already well visible area)
where you then know or can guess that more of the programs or text-Vid
probably switch "movement" behind this seems to be gray if you are on
the switch.

For visual documentation!

I would / would have been happy to set images. But the stupid thing
is that despite all the stress I iM so and so did even on my PC so I
abspacken iM have no USB access. But I'm going to try the I picture by
mobile phone from the TV screen directly after turning on and then can
make the image visible and that I have these images via wireless through
the router into your PC and get here.

To: "ESF-tubes" and "The error shows up in a colored picture with
diagonal stripes" and "just irritates me your color code yellow would
be very unwarscheinlich A red, blue or green veil would be a sure sign,
however.."

Because of the ESF-tubes,

I've also read that this can and will provide details when I have
the device open. What is stupid in my case zieml the TV on a TV arm is
sucked so that the TV only begins at breast height, and thus bring down
one or not arriving mr grad easy.

I'm going to try if I then open one probably on the TV with my head
rankommen good - but only to throw a glance at times or try to look and
rough. For the intricacies of the box but should be better down the TV
arm.

Because the Grau-/Gelbschleier on the visible image!

So I mean I've noticed this "veil" on the picture only recently (one
probably for 2-3 months). I do not know exactly what but main reason is
that this has played slowly.

The color of this "veil" - that is I noticed it yesterday when I was
once engaged intensively with the picture, then probably but not
necessarily be described as "yellowish" but maybe more towards gray veil
with "blue haze" or Sun

In any case, it goes here but yellowish to reddish, thorough or
profound. I think gray with blue or blue-gray with something better
would come out.

It is somewhat difficult for me as some describe. I'm on TV here a
DNS function where one can "make. And here I mean a resemblance to" the
so-called image tone "to either" normal "," cool "or" warm cool "to have
discovered (there is a little warm reddish image from).

And "... colored picture with diagonal stripes"!

All I can so I do not "weird movie" or have no banding in the image
and I would say that I am also not in the sense of "colored picture"
did. A veil in the picture, yes, but no "colored picture" as is often
seen here.

..... So that the device-use and repair Coming

To: "This can lead in extreme cases, damage to the tube as the
piston is too hot" and / or "... so you drive even with a car in which a
cylinder has failed ......"

Oh man, if it is so bad then I'll see now that I cut out the box and
go and stand before me a small compensation. The hope is always that it
is not soo bad, so I was hoping that one only for a few days can
"continue". But when a cylinder is broken, then you really should not
"go"; right!

To: resolder In the simplest case helps, possibly even the vertical amplifier is defective "and the procedure for the repair!

What this is probably the main point and then where I need your support if necessary. Thus the following:

> If I then open the device or better from the TV arm was
down, then probably only time the isolation transformer in front of the
TV (there goes my 220V / 2.5 amp?)?

> Then I should probably see whether a device is in the ESF-tube?

> Yes, and where should I look or where and what to check solder joints and resolder loose evt?

And here I wish to say once very amateurish and quiet that at least
for me, my described error no degree for a "free" solder joint looks but
some such as when insufficient and / or slow flow in the "image"
arrives and then build up slowly have until it reaches the visible image
(sorry for my stupid description - but just trying to give
information). Eventually I once had are the thoughts of a broken or
worn-cond and that one probably because it could.

And finally we have a request to the SM:

After I've probably abgegoogelt half the Net and found nothing about
this TV exactly, one probably has some plan for me who is a switch?

And now the most upcoming craft activities!

I am now, unfortunately, been home late and I do not know how I can
get this week over at the TV and the TV arm down to get lifted. But my
next two steps would now probably only the following times;

- Try this set I get here a little picture right after turning on and with the visible image? Then,

- Gazing whether it is an ESR tube is? And,

- SM to look around the area to find the vertical deflection (will
probably be back at the end of the tube) and search for bad solder
joints look /?

..... And do something about what I could / should?

Ah, and even better too much than too little once asked;

what areas I should be inside the TV does not necessarily come too close? The CRT rear and the power supply and / or ....?

The correct chassis designation should also be on the nameplate.

Quote:
See whether there is an ESR tube is?

ESF

Quote:
the SM look around the area to find the vertical deflection (will probably be back at the tube end)

That would be extremly unusual for there sits the color output stage.

The vertical amplifier sits on the motherboard.

Quote:
what areas I should be inside the TV does not necessarily come too close?

When switched on, you should avoid the line output stage and power
supply, and then you really do not always touches Spannunsgführenden
parts.

So, here I am again ......

My words "... the SM look around the area to find the vertical deflection (will probably be back at the tube end)"

Man man - that's embarrassing to me soon: As I siehst'e times like
I'm stupid dbzgl. I probably have something good here with a scope and
some vertical plates or so had in mind and confused. Well, I'm rather
quiet before I have to be ashamed of in the land ....

Set to pictures!

So, I've tried a couple of times by cell phone to snap pictures from
the TV and I see the degree it seems to have worked but now with the
image size.

Picture 192

This image describes the TV a few seconds from turning when the TV
is still only a few sec long black for BUT THEN I have referred to the "Gray backlit"
to change. At the top of the handle you can see Bils broad-band design.
The program image is as I said during this phase can not be identified.

Picture 193

This image can be described when I say that in the two top corners
and small areas Wodran you see or imagine that if I turn For example,
with the prog-Vid or the text, then that behind the gray "movement" in
the (invisible) image would change because depending on the colors.

Picture 183 + 186

The pictures describe the TV when the picture becomes visible / is.
Where the image is the last week "already" was visible after about 20-30
sec and then after about an hour!

Now that I have tried once again to the said "stain" to examine, I
think that this one probably could with icy gray-blue or dirty blue or
so describe.

For example, on image 183 and the bottom right of the horizontal
stripes, this is Cam-conditioned and it's not the TV picture. In the TV
picture while there are these veils of color, stripes or something but
NO!

So, that would then only once. Have the TV still does not open
because I am only because of the box and come up particularly well so
stupid is on the TV arm. But I hope that the pictures can help a little.

You should not install as long run, that can go evil eye!

Then the image will appear suddenly or slowly it moves down? The unit responds to shocks?

To your question:

If the image is then visible, then it is as usual (apart from this veil of color) with no problems!

And the picture itself is visible and then all of a sudden without
any notice. So until we see the o.g. gray (see also images), and at once
the visible image is there! From then on, the image remains visible
even without any change.

Oh, and "knock" but I have not yet on the device! But could it make
if one probably needed the box and turn on again tomorrow to knock a
little!?

So, my TV is still on top of the TV arm and before I open my box I
wanted to have this lifted down only because I think it's probably not
so hot when I'm standing on a ladder and mess about on the box.

Pictures from the chassis to MD2.22

One probably in the hope to quickly narrow down the error is
something I have looked through yesterday since probably about a hundred
pages and not found an error description which is similar with my
mistake. Only here I have attached pictures of the chassis MD2.22
discovered and then want to also ask again:

> Where should I go not intervene in these boards because dangerous?

> On these boards is then also the area with the said vertical deflection to find?

And where I discovered these two chassis pictures were also attached the following dates and times with just imagine the pure;

Service Menu!
Also, I'm with my bad english caves probably read something from a service menu and thus the question

> Could one probably is not for me to discover something about the service and how to get in with me in the menu?

To my CRT!

It still is not 100%, but from reading reinweg ago I must say that
this TV probably has an ESF tube. However, I still have some hope
because of my mistake or otherwise "ESF-usual" seems to be.

My remote diagnostics tube scrap with or without ESF

To your remote diagnosis!

Mhh, even if I have the TV electronics kene idea but I think that
can be said in this case is not so easy / should the tube is junk. With
visible because look at my problem description and in the turn-on to be
the image it sees at least not from me just for a crappy picture tube.

Sure, the box has as I said certainly done his duty and was worth
the money (even if other TVs have problems funkz years longer.), But if
one probably due to a "little thing" would be the case again for a few
months or few years to awaken to the "colorful" life I would look out
for several reasons.

Annex to the uploaded / image titled "Troubleshooting, Schutzvorrichtng .... MD2.22"

Juhuuu .... - A bright spot, thank you for this attachment [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

Right at the beginning of the "Reparaturvefahren" and "1" is
described how one should approach the 4:3 image and you should use the
16:9 switching. And if I remember correctly - and I mean I'm sure to
101pro (the TV was turned on now but not extra for it), then was with me
on the screen this strikingly bright "white line" accordingly.

Thus, the picture tube that is not broken [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

Troubleshooting and issue!

So now I must seek the TDA4780 pin 19 and applied there and see if 4.5 V feedback! And if not applied is 4.5 V,

> Would I then under "Item 3" go there with me yes no lines are visible?

What else does "fault in the feedback loop"? What should I do now so where and how?

And above all, again, there also features already here that could be
dangerous or where you should be extra careful (ie to take the course
unless you're not always in current-carrying)?

Appendix "Search"

Search fuse (5x20) for Digi-meter!

On this occasion I will also attach here attached the following query. I put the same but also directly under "Search".

Following it might sound one probably funny, but I have my little
problems with the first mentioned security "M 0.032 / 250V C" because at
least I have this so far detected only once and then the usual pack of
10, however a price where I would somewhat exaggerated words plus an
additional 7 Eur Porto soon would get a new meter. If I remember
correctly, the price for the 10-pack at about 14 Eur excl

1) For 220V AC circuit

G-fuse .... 0.032 M / C 250, DIN 41571 (M 0.05/250 G at 110V mains voltage) hedged.

2) For measuring current

G-fuse 3.15 FF / 250 G

So my question please!

Did you happen to be one of the first named Backup ".032 M / C 250" I could lie and which one or more two / three sell St.?

And then when the opportunity exists, and also taking advantage of the same two / three hours from the FF3 15/250G?

Porto naturally take over and I still like one / two euros for the work and effort made [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة] Advance remittance is of course of course.

That would be very nice, thank you for that [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة]

Philips 28ML8976, chassis FL1.1
Fault: The screen is white, Loch around the field, there is no picture. With
vigorous tapping board and management of video image appears completely normal,
but disappears when turned on again. The reason - the lack of three-level
pulses from the emitter of the transistor 7403 due to a crack in the path
between its collector and the bus of "land" on the board and power
sweeps.

PHILIPS 21PT5457 chassis L01.2E.AA

First had to restore an abandoned 2 years ago television SAMSUNG. TV could not
wait any criticism of the above patient.
SAMSUNG earned. Luck was encouraged.

Today, after all substitutions and composition of such samples -

7402 - BUT18AF 1000V/6A/32W
6404 - BY329X 1500S 1500V/6A
6411 and 6412 - replaced by one BYW95C 600V/3A

Note. The original 7402 scheme BUT11APX 1200 (Sheet A2 LINE DEFLECTION) is
depicted with built-in resistor and the damper diode. In all views datasheet
nothing built there. BUT11APX 1200 from BUT11AF BUT18AF and differs only in the
high voltage to the-E = 1200V. It is believed that K-E = 1000V enough.

Cut a path PHILIPS + B near the FBT, and parallel capacitor soldered the lamp
40Vath220V 2561.
Inclusion - the lamp is lit, + B = 95.6V, M_AUX = 12.4V (sheet A1 Power
Supply), based on 7402 pulses no lowercase.
Turn on / off with remote - + B = 95.6V / 27V. The lamp is lit 40Vat / dull
choppy.
Lowercase pulses under the scheme are fed through a capacitor 2411 47mFx50V.
The board is not a dirty green and gray. Vypayanny, it shows instead 3mF 47mF.
Usoh between two hot coils.

( ……………2411……………2411……………2411…………….. )

I put a new 47mFx50V - normal and inclusion with lamp and without!.
No lights on / off with remote - + B = 94V / 71V.

Most likely to BU1508DX will work just fine and with family details and other
appropriate ....

Thank you for the constructive criticism
Moral of the story ... Normal work week.

Philips 14PT1352/5S ch.
L6.1

Processor TMP47C1637N-RA18. The image is normal, but the sound is distorted:
voices are muffled and lisp, is clearly not enough treble. The reason was a
piezoceramic filter (5.5 MHz), 1101.

Philips-29PT5507/58 Ch. LO1.1E
UOC: TDA9565H/N1/S/080 TV is included in the PP ~ 2 seconds, time to receive
the narrowed horizontal screen with dual lines, then goes back to TV in the DR.
After 5-7 such attempts may make normal TV, except that the right edge of the
screen has wavy edges. Confidently and quickly find the cause of the defect in
the customer helped ESR-meter-capacity electrolyte lost in 2455 (47mkfh35v).

PHILIPS 2844
Problem: with warming, "green" and turns itself off. Framed
TDA6107-old result. When tapping on the neck of the CRT color illumination.
Turn off the heat of full-time (pre-heating measured U), 2 turns pulls well
insulated wire on a core strochnika and connect through a resistor to the staff
findings heater tube. Turn everything is OK. U filament alterations to 6.2 V
after 6.3

PHILIPS 28PW5324/01
Problem: when you turn beeping power supply. PSU defective. The module line
scan crashed 6N60., Not short-circuit and 35 ohms. After replacing the TV
switched on but not fully deploys the line heats 6N60. Vypayal monoplaty module
with line scan, the module swollen capacitor 390 n near conclusion. After
replacing the capacitor 390 n everything is OK.

PHILIPS 21PT1865/58 ch. L9.2E AA
Tuner UV 1316/A1-3, after the storm, "snow cover images", set the
tuner: on TV "Birch 54TTS-610D" chassis
MSH-720 (5 years) fits perfectly, with no service adjustments.

Philips 29PT8841S/60 chassis L0.4A-AD
Came in for repair after a sloppy repair Philips 29PT8841S/60 chassis L0.4A-AD
(change processor TDA12010H1/N1B51 [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذه الصورة])

TV was launched, was attended by all the voltage, the LED does not light duty
room and start the line did not occur. Pushed the idea of reference [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذا الرابط] - Check the SDA and SCL bus
from terminal to terminal 1244 1203. Exchange 7202 reached up to the
transistor, and transistor after a complete zero, well, to / from 7203 no signs
of life. Were replaced by two transistors (7203.7202) to 2N7002LT1 and
television come to life.

PHILIPS 14PT138A/58R
P83C055BBP/173
Periodically buggy controller - buttons on the panel served nesvoi functions
(such as when you VOLUM + menu appear and perelistovalos itself ... despite the
fact that the panel of four buttons - the volume and switching between
programs!), Rhythmically blinking LED that appeared and disappeared different
channels .. .
It turned out that on the 16th leg of the controller (one of the tires buttons)
instead of five pulses were present with a lower frequency. And they came, they
bus in from 9 strochnika - fell off the filter capacitor (S2443). Deffektik
Wonderful ...

PHILIPS 14PT1345/58, chassis L9.2E AA (Polish assembly)
Problem: after 20-30 seconds. after the start goes to the duty room, the screen
only "snow". Detailed testing showed that dried up e-thou BS in
primary and secondary circuits. And as a result of overstating the supply
voltage. As well as the poor quality of rations in BP, CP, CD, etc. It also
emerged that came with the system memory chip 24C08. After elimination of these
defects TV works fine.

PHILIPS 21GR9750/02B chassis G90B.
Not included. Fuse intact. Nutrition + B short-circuits NOTES whole. The breakdown
of the collector coil FBT on weight (36 923 79 / 1). Set HR7503.

Philips 29PT8640/12 ch. ES1E
C duty room not included. operational. Blinking error 7. Probit zener 27v 6458
on a vertical refresh.

Philips 21PT5107S L01.1A
Came down with power switch in the PSU P10NK80FP, native did not find, put
SSS6N60B, not too hot to be working fine for a month already.

Philips 14pv135 \ 58 TV,
video gear Z12VA.

Defect: the TV is turned on 2-3 sec. and immediately shuts down. The motor VCR
all the time scrolls. To lock the VCR to work at the program switch SW212
(on-board symbol: pow-amp-block N150) to close the points G and A1, ie G-spot
to land on the ground through 22kom (R261), as well as disable the floppy
ribbon cable that goes to the engine from the board, so as not humming ...
